Exporting Reports

Export survey reports in different formats and file types, choose team and reporting group data combinations, and download or manage past exports.

  1. Select Create Export(s) from the Export Options drop-down list on the upper-right corner of the page.

  2. In the Create Export(s) window, select one of the following Export Type options:

    Full Report
    Comprehensive results of all survey questions.

    Q¹² Summary
    Focused results of only the Q¹² questions.

    Note: This option is available only if the survey includes the Q12 Mean index (i.e., Gallup’s Q¹² items).

    Heatmap
    An Excel file showing data comparisons with heatmap visuals.

    Comments
    An Excel file of respondent comments to open-ended questions (if available).

  3. Use the Teams and Reporting Groups options to select the data for your export. Each combination of team and reporting group will create a separate report (500 maximum).

    Note: If you have access to bivariable reporting, you may choose the Combined Reporting Groups option, which lets you combine data from paired reporting group values.

  4. If you selected one or more teams, choose which Team Data to include:

    Direct
    Data from only respondents who belong to the selected teams.

    Rollup
    Data from all respondents who report up the structure to the selected teams.

    Both
    Create separate reports for each data option.

  5. Depending on your export type, use the following options to configure your export:

    Format
    For a Full Report, select whether you want it as a PDF, a PowerPoint (PPT), or both.

    Questions
    For a Heatmap or Comments, select which questions to include.

    Metric
    For a Heatmap, select which data value to use.

    Data
    For Comments, choose to include comments only, or comments with sentiment and topic data (if available).

  6. Click Export Files. Gallup will provide your reports as a single, downloadable ZIP file. You will also receive an email when your reports are ready.

Select View All Exports from the Export Options drop-down list to view the Past Reports window, which lists all reports you have previously created. Click a report's download button (Download button) to download it, or click its delete button (Delete button) to remove it.
