Review survey results, summarized index metrics, trends, and navigate links to question details and resources.
The Overview tab summarizes the results of indexes included on the survey and provides convenient access to useful learning resources.
Note: Your organization can determine which indexes appear on this tab. To view the results of indexes that do not appear here, select the Questions tab.

Overview tab
Each index summary displays the mean, trended mean (if available), mean change from the previous survey (if available), and total respondents. You can also position your mouse pointer over the mean value to view the quartile and 90ᵗʰ percentile values in the comparison database. Click an index's View Details link to view its full results on the Questions tab.
Note: Unless modified for the survey, the comparison database is the Gallup Overall database.

Employee engagement data
If the survey includes the Q¹² Mean index (i.e., Gallup's Q¹² items), the Overview tab displays the following employee engagement data:
Highest Q¹² Items
The two items with the highest mean percentile rank in the comparison database across the entire engagement hierarchy. Use them to focus on what the team is doing well.
Lowest Q¹² Items
The two items with the lowest mean percentile rank in the comparison database, focusing mainly on the lower half of the engagement hierarchy (Q01-Q06). Use them to focus on where the team may have opportunities for improvement.
Engaged
The percentage of respondents who are highly involved in and enthusiastic about their work and workplace. They are psychological “owners,” drive performance and innovation, and move the organization forward.
Not Engaged
The percentage of respondents who are psychologically unattached to their work and company. Because their engagement needs are not being fully met, they're putting time — but not energy or passion — into their work.
Actively Disengaged
The percentage of respondents who aren't just unhappy at work — they are resentful that their needs aren't being met and are acting out their unhappiness. Every day, these workers potentially undermine what their engaged coworkers accomplish.
Engagement Ratio
The number of engaged respondents to actively disengaged respondents, so you can quickly gauge the team's engagement status.
Note: Percent engaged data require at least 30 responses, while percent not engaged and percent actively disengaged data require at least 100 responses.
