Why do I see a message indicating my survey has already been taken?

Each Gallup survey invitation link is unique to an individual and can only be used once. If you’re seeing a message that your survey has already been completed - but you haven’t taken it - a few things may have happened:

  1. You may have forwarded your invitation to someone else who used it to take the survey.
  2. You may have received the invitation from someone else, and they had already used the link.
  3. You may have previewed the survey questions and unintentionally submitted your responses.
