Troubleshooting Single Sign-On (SSO) Issues

If you're having trouble signing in to Gallup Access with SSO, especially if you see a “SAML Authentication Error”, the issue likely needs to be resolved by your organization’s IT team.

Why the error happens

When you use your company’s SSO link or select Single Sign-On on the Gallup Access sign-in screen, your organization sends data (called claims) to Gallup to verify your identity.

If all required claims are received, access is granted. If any are missing, you’ll see an error indicating which pieces are missing.

What to do

Please contact your IT department, help desk, or email administrator. They’ll need to adjust your SSO configuration to ensure the required information is sent correctly.

Gallup Client Support cannot fix SSO claim issues. These must be resolved by your organization’s internal team.
