Why is there a timer for each statement? What if I didn't have time to choose a response?

Each CliftonStrengths question has a 40-second time limit to encourage instinctive, top-of-mind responses — helping reveal your most natural talents without overthinking. If the timer runs out, it likely means neither statement strongly resonated, which still provides valuable insight. While the timer can’t be turned off by default, Gallup will gladly accommodate any user who prefers to take the assessment without the time limit.
